A delicious  feast for the senses!

Watch this adorable Child of God be blessed by the holy liquids! Praise be!

Style frames and a nice plump design for our dinner...

Be sure to pair it with an aged red wine.

Done in Adobe Photoshop.

Character sketching and model sheets.

Sketching done with watercolor and ink brush.

Model sheets done in Adobe Photoshop.

Layout renders done in mixed media, most of which include a variety of gold inks and paints. These were later comped in and edited into 3D environments in Adobe After Effects.

Animatic cut from boards. Images and camera movements constructed in Storyboard pro.

Sound editing and color-tinting done in Adobe After Effects..

The assets were laser-cut, hand painted and gold leaf, and finally rigged with museum putty before being ready to shoot. Each character (asides from the TV Paint animated assets in the establishing shot) was shot against blue screen and later comped in to a 3D environment in Adobe After Effects.

The photos above shows the shoot table set-up along with some of the assets made during the fabrication process.

Stop-Motion footage was shot on a Canon 6D using Dragonframe.

An example of one of the 3D environment setups created for Shot 2 in Adobe After Effects.

All elements traditionally hand-drawn (aside from the light effects) and composited in frame.

Screenshots from the final film with lighting and color grading.
